This hotel is a great value for money and offers basic amenities. It’s located in the centre of a beautiful village, right by the local castle and close to the sea and other tourist attractions. The staff is very friendly and pays attention to detail. Don't miss their homemade pastries at breakfast! From other reviews, the hotel seems to give mobile phones to guests and has a dedicated car park for eight vehicles.
All was perfect, nothing to report.

Simple and very comfortable, this is a lovely place to stay. The hosts are very pleasant and speak excellent English. There is free parking and free wireless and it's right in the centre of the small town that is Duino.
The hotel has been open since the 1940s (though substantially upgraded since) so the walls are a little thin. But that gives it the charm which marks it out from the million or so chain hotels out there.

This lovely, renovated hotel exceeded our expectations. the location was perfect for exploring the local attractions, including a beautiful castle and picturesque harbor with plenty of restaurants. Our room was modern and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a sleek bathroom. We really appreciated the friendly service and delicious breakfast with homemade treats. There were even extra touches like a mobile phone with internet access and free calls. a wonderful stay with plenty of advantages and facilities.
It's worth noting that this hotel is best suited to active travelers and doesn't offer any outdoor spaces or gardens for relaxation.

Very friendly staff that spoke very good English.Good parking place.
Breakfast room was too small and no seat for a baby. Shower could have been more modern. Not very practical hotel with big luggage.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in a charming Italian coastal town. The hotel's attention to detail was impeccable. The rooms were modern and spotless, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a selection of teas and coffee in my room. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the local castle and the beautiful harbor. The staff were friendly, fluent in English, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. And let's talk about the breakfast! The homemade pastries were absolutely divine, and the smell of freshly baked bread filled the air. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer, but I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful experience.
Everything was simply perfect, no complaints whatsoever.

The Manager Andreas made us feel very welcome upon arrival and was most helpful with everything throughout our stay. His English was impeccable and he went out of his way to make enquiries when I lost my purse on an evening out. The room was really clean and the staff very friendly. The guest house has an art deco feel and is small but comfortable. Breakfast was a full continental with a good choice of drinks and cereals. It is in a great location as the castle Duino is on the same street and the beach is a short walk to the harbour. It is situated near to a couple of restaurants/ bars and a bus stop for travelling into Trieste. I would highly recommend this hotel as great value for money.
